Credits Stay Valid for 2 Years
Each credit is valid for 730 days from when it was earned. This is not a 30-day voucher that pressures you. If your next renewal is 8 months away, the credit will still be there when you need it.
What to Know Before You Start Referring
The referral program is simple. These are the boundaries worth knowing upfront so there are no surprises.
Refer as many studios as you want. Every studio generates credits independently. There is no cap on how many referrals you can make.
Only one credit is used per renewal, even if you have multiple pending. Credits queue up in FIFO order - oldest credit applied first. They do not all apply at once.
The system caps the discount at 50% of the plan price per renewal. Even with many credits queued, no single renewal will be discounted beyond 50%.
Even at maximum discount, Razorpay or Stripe requires at least Rs.1 per transaction. The system enforces this automatically.
The system blocks entering your own referral code. The code entry field is available to a studio on their first payment link only - this is the primary referral window.
Each credit is valid for 730 days from when it was earned. Unused credits after 2 years expire automatically. Most credits will be used well before this point.
You receive a WhatsApp message and email the moment any new credit is added to your account - so you always know when a referred studio renewed and when your reward arrived.
The current reward is 10% per credit. The platform admin can adjust this. Any change only affects new credits earned after the change - existing pending credits keep their locked percentage.

Is there a limit on how many studios I can refer to MyPhotoStudio?
No limit. Every studio you refer generates a new discount credit for you every time they renew their plan - whether that is month 1 or month 24. Refer 10 studios and you could earn 10 credits per renewal cycle, applied one at a time.

Does the referral discount apply automatically or do I need to enter a code at renewal?
Automatic. When you renew your plan, MyPhotoStudio detects your pending credits and applies the oldest one first. You do not need to enter any coupon code or manually claim anything. The discounted amount appears directly on the payment screen.

What percentage discount do I get per referral credit?
The platform currently sets the reward at 10% per credit - Rs.100 off a Rs.1,000 plan renewal, Rs.299 off a Rs.2,999 plan. The platform admin can adjust this percentage. Any change only affects new credits going forward - not credits you have already earned.

How long are referral credits valid before they expire?
Each credit is valid for 2 years (730 days) from the date it was earned. Credits do not expire in 30 days. You have plenty of time to use them across your plan renewals.

Can I use multiple referral credits in one renewal?
One credit per renewal. But they queue up in order - if you have 3 pending credits, the oldest is used at your next renewal, the second at the renewal after that, and so on. Credits are consumed automatically in First In, First Out order.

What happens to my credits if the studio I referred stops using MyPhotoStudio?
If they stop renewing, you stop earning new credits from them. But any credits you have already earned remain in your account and are still valid until they expire - 2 years from when each credit was earned.
